We
recommend the vertical lift for shallow
or deep-water applications. Also, this may be a better
choice if you are in a lake that has extreme fluctuations
(such as local MN Power reservoirs).
-
The
ShoreMaster 2-7,000 lb. vertical lifts
provide a 66” lifting height, the highest
in the industry.
- The
cantilever
lifts perform well in non-fluctuating, depths of water.
The larger lifts require 2.5 feet or more of water,
and calmer (lower wake) water.
- The
cantilever lifts are easier to crank
up than a vertical lift because the pivoting action
effectively transfers the weight of the boat to the
frame.
- The
hydraulic lifts function the same as a cantilever lift
except operate with hydraulic rams instead of cables.
- The
hydraulic lifts require about 4-5 feet of water.
